Frequently Asked Questions

Is this affiliated with SAM.gov?

No. We pull data from SAM.gov's public API and from state procurement portals. We're not affiliated with any government agency.

How fresh is the data?

Federal: pulled at least daily, plus on-demand drips. State data refreshed daily from each source's open data API. Stale or expired contracts are removed automatically.

Do I need to be SAM-registered?

To bid on federal contracts, yes — but you don't need to be registered to get our alerts. Many subscribers use us to scout opportunities before deciding whether to register.

Which states are covered?

Federal coverage is nationwide via SAM.gov. Specific state-level coverage today: NY (state + NYC + MTA), NJ (agency purchasing), IL (Chicago), WA (state + King County), OR (DOT, ORPIN, Treasury), CA (LA RAMP), CO (Denver), MA (Cambridge), MO (KCMO), DE, LA (Baton Rouge). We add new states on subscriber request.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — from the billing portal. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. Within the first 7 days, we refund you in full if the product isn't useful.

Do you write proposals for me?

On Pro plans, you can generate a first-draft proposal outline for any contract — exec summary, technical approach, past performance template, pricing guidance, compliance points. It's a starting point you edit, not a finished bid.

What's a NAICS code?

The North American Industry Classification System code that identifies what your business does. SAM.gov uses NAICS to filter opportunities. If you don't know yours, the IRS form your accountant filed lists it; or check your SAM.gov registration.

What if I don't see opportunities in my area?

Federal contracts are nationwide — we surface every match for your NAICS regardless of state. State-level coverage depends on which portals we have wired. If we're missing a state you care about, email us.

Do you support set-aside contracts?

Yes. We track 8(a), WOSB, EDWOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone, total small business set-asides, and partial set-asides. Your eligibility is part of your profile.
